The Chey Institute for Advanced Studies hosted Scientific Innovation Series 5 special webcast conference on battery technology and materials. The conference featured 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry Laureate Professor Stanley Whittingham, who developed the foundation for lithium-ion battery chemistry. In addition, world-leading battery scientists such as Professor Gerbrand Ceder from UC Berkeley, Professor Kisuk Kang and Professor Jang Wook Choi, joined the conference, to discuss the emerging battery technologies and the challenges facing the industry and academia.
