On January 30, 2023, the Chey Institute released the results of its public survey opinion poll. Commissioned by the Chey Institute and conducted by Gallup Korea between November 28 and December 16, 2022, the poll investigated the Korean public's perceptions on national security issues including North Korean denuclearization, North Korea's seventh nuclear test, and South Korea's development of its own nuclear weapons.
