Chey Institute for Advanced Studies and CSIS have launched the Joint Commission on Northeast Asia and the Korean Peninsula in December 2019 to form a collective intelligence for the future of the region and the ROK-U.S. alliance in light of the dawn of new Biden era. After the unprecedented series of four public or closed sessions over the span of six months, the CHEY-CSIS Commission published a special joint report on the Korea-U.S. alliance. To commemorate the launch of this special report, Chey Institute and CSIS held a special roll-out session on "Future of Northeast Asia and the Korea-U.S. Alliance" on May 18, 2021.
