In partnership with CSIS, the Chey Institute held the second Joint Commission on Northeast Asia and the Korean Peninsula entitled “What do we do on North Korea? Extended Deterrence and Diplomacy" in June 2022. Esteemed thought leaders, including former USFK Commander Vincent Brooks, assembled to discuss the pressing issue of North Korea's nuclear weapons advancement and the future of extended deterrence within this dynamic security context.
